NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT

     The CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
     The CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT tax on a $545,000 residence would increase from $14.09 to $16.19, which is $2.10 per year.
     The CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT tax on a $545,000 business would increase from $25.62 to $29.43, which is $3.81 per year.
     If the proposed budget is approved, CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT would receive an additional $80,000 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 14.88% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
     The CACHE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually.
